Submissions Policy

We are interested in high quality adult fiction of most kinds. We are willing to consider historical, "literary", romantic, or crime fiction - or books that won't fit simply into any single genre. We are particularly interested to hear from authors who have been previously published in one category of books, but who want to change direction.

We do not publish: children's books, illustrated books, poetry, biography, science fiction, or religious books.

If you wish your book to be considered for publication, as a first step you should submit a detailed synopsis (and yes, that does mean giving the end away!) in electronic format only. It can be in any of the common word processing document formats, or simple text files. Please send the file as an email attachment to info@soliduspress.com. In your email, you should give us as much detail as possible, including:

Your name and address

Any previously published books

A synopsis of the complete work

Your writing background

Remember, your email will be your first contact with us, and we are assessing your writing skills. Spelling mistakes, errors in grammar and badly written sentences may not usually matter in emails, but this time they do!
